Job summary

Collier County is seeking a surveying/engineering support role to collect field data, perform surveying, and assist in creating draft construction plans using CAD software. The candidate will research division records, manage data, and prepare technical reports for division leadership.

Experience with GPS data collection and digitizing plans is a plus. A valid Florida driver’s license is expected, with fingerprinting required for background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Collects data relating to Division operations and activities; conducts studies; assists in analyzing data and identifying trends.
• Researches division files, records, databases, and online sources as needed.
• Creates and maintains databases; manages statistical spreadsheets; enters data into the computer.
