Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Urban Studies/Design, Architecture, Public Administration, Sociology, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of planning principles and zoning basics.
• Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate city-initiated rezonings (authorized hearings).
• Engage community members and stakeholders to align input with City goals and formulate zoning recommendations.
• Prepare documents and reports for Planning Commission presentations.
• Explain policies and procedures to applicants, review applications, and ensure proper approvals.
