Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking an Operator, Pipeline Trainee in Oakland City to train toward a Pipeline Operator role. You will work closely with a mentor and participate in multiple training programs across computer-based and instructor-led courses.

This position emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and teamwork as you gain hands-on experience with natural gas liquids, gas processing and pipeline operations across various facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree or 2-year technical certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience in natural gas/gas liquids, gas processing, petrochemical or pipeline operations.

Responsibilities

• Undergo training with a mentor to prepare for future Pipeline Operator roles.
• Participate in computer-based and instructor-led courses.
• Complete all assigned training programs.
• Assist with paperwork, inventories and quality control.
• Take composite samples of gas/liquid products for analysis.
• Operate terminals and stations coordinating with Pipeline Control and affiliates.
• Maintain NGL storage facility and product handling; follow safety and regulatory requirements.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Develop reports on facility operations.
