Job summary

Foundation Health Partners' Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is seeking an entry-level Phlebotomist to join our diagnostic team. You will collect and prepare biological specimens, enter information into the LIS, and support analytical testing workflows in a patient-centered setting.

We offer a starting wage of $20.07 per hour with increases based on experience and education, plus a $500 retention bonus for eligible new hires. Shift options include day and night, with move toward growth within the lab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform collection and receipt of biological specimens.
• Enter data into computer system accurately.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribution to the appropriate area.
• Provide pre- and post-analytical support for testing.
• May assist with blood donor registration services.
