Health First in Florida seeks a dedicated Phlebotomist to support laboratory testing through accurate specimen collection and timely processing, while delivering friendly, professional customer service. You will perform venipuncture, comply with all lab policies and regulations, participate in proficiency testing, and assist with basic registration and payer verifications as required.

The role requires strong computer skills, reliability, and flexibility to cover shifts, holidays, and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one year venipuncture experience.
• Phlebotomy training program completion within the first 90 days of employment.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Complies with Health First policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
• Collects and processes patient specimens in accordance with standards.
• Meets performance metrics and ensures quality patient care.
• Minimizes patient and sample identification errors in all phases.
• Performs basic computer tasks relevant to the role.
• Supports shift coverage including holidays and weekends.
