Job summary

Pride Health invites applications for an Entry-Level Phlebotomist to support our healthcare client in Roanoke, VA. The role centers on greeting patients, assisting with lobby duties, and providing courteous patient care while supporting phlebotomy workflows.

The position is 6 months, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8 am–5 pm and pay of $17.75 per hour. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and phlebotomy exposure, plus solid customer service and data-entry skills to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience or internship required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle patients with care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with lobby duties.
• Answer questions with care and compassion while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with breaks and coverage for staffing shortages in the lobby and draw room.
