Fifth Third Bank seeks candidates for the Retail Personal Banker I program in Houston. Selected candidates enter a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service.

A certification upon completion enables advancement within the Retail Personal Banker family. The role emphasizes consultative selling, acquiring new households, and deepening customer relationships, while handling teller transactions and contributing to risk management and customer

Qualifications

College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
Experience in the financial industry preferred.
Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell.
Ability to analyze financial information with basic math.
Professional representation of Fifth Third Bank in appearance and communication.
NMLS/S.A.F.E. Act registration required at employment.

Responsabilités

Use the consultative sales process and needs assessment to identify financial needs.
Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and propose suitable solutions.
Use CAMP and approved tools to set appointments for financial reviews.
Cross-sell to the existing customer base and participate in outside sales activities.
Collaborate with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial) to provide holistic solutions.
Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals while managing risk.
