Job summary

Citi’s Personal Banker SAFE Act is an entry-level role focused on assisting in sales, product, and service activities with the customer service team in New York. The position aims to build loyalty with individual consumer clients and grow banking relationships.

You will work on small business opportunities, cross-sell treasury products, and deliver excellent client experiences while adhering to Citigroup policies and risk controls. This role is full-time and located in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests less than $250K and refer larger lending opportunities.
• Build referral business opportunities through COIs and MGM program.
• Grow the small business client and implement sales plans to target Book of Business customers.
• Deliver client services and outbound/inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships.
• Coach branch staff on products and programs, providing referrals where appropriate.
• Educate clients on service and digital channels and present product offers/financial solutions.
