Job summary

Advantech USA is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the production team in Milpitas. You will assemble PC boards, peripherals, and cabling into chassis, reporting to the Assembly Team Leader.

The role involves reviewing BOMs, performing quality inspections, and conducting power-on testing to ensure Advantech standards. We require a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of PC hardware assembly experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in PC hardware assembly.
• Metal/plastic assembly experience is a plus; familiarity with BOMs and SOPs is expected.
• Ability to interpret CTO/OEM files and verify against work orders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PC boards, peripherals, components, and cabling into chassis per SOPs.
• Review work orders and BOMs for consistency with CTOs and OEM files.
• Perform quality inspections before assembly and ensure proper workmanship.
• Conduct power-on testing to validate product functionality.
• Support system assembly, board-level tasks, and basic testing as needed.
• Assist with system rework, hardware upgrades, and product modifications.
• Follow ISO procedures and adhere to CTO and OEM documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and management to resolve assembly issues.
