Job summary

Enloe Health in Northern California is seeking a Patient Access Representative I to join the Admitting Department. This entry-level role trains you to accurately collect and register patients’ demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data under close supervision.

You will support efficient operations, expedite reimbursements and promote patient satisfaction while upholding Enloe Medical Center’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 months experience in an office environment performing clerical duties.
• Ability to follow instructions and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; strong typing and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data to register patients under supervision.
• Provide routine patient access activities to support efficient operations and expeditious reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Enloe Medical Center’s Code of Conduct.
