You will gain hands-on training, develop safe work habits, and contribute to accurate documentation and proper coordination with the lead. This position supports our focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement through 2 Second Lean principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; preferred.
• (2) two years of consistent working experience. Related experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Check equipment for proper operation, safety and/or maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines as scheduled and/or required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, methods, and sequence of operation.
• Measure ingredients or substances to create specific finishes.
• Operate painting and coating equipment.
• Examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Accurately document completion of work/operations in Shop Floor Manager and/or ERP system.
• Coordinate with lead to ensure product paper work is accurate and complete.
• Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
• Perform other jobs or functions assigned by manager/supervisor.
