Job summary

Athena Manufacturing, LP is seeking a Hardware Trainee for an entry-level position. You will learn to read and interpret customer drawings, assist with hardware installation, and operate a drill press under supervision.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years of work experience.
2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Learn the use of safe working habits and clean work area (6S).
Adhere and promote Athena Manufacturing Code of Values.
Learn and Identify Safety Hazards.
Learn job skills, company policies and processes to do routine tasks.
Learn basics of running a press brake.
Learn basic machine/equipment repair and maintenance.
Learn to install, align, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures.
Monitor equipment operation to ensure products are not flawed.
Record/document operational and production data.
Perform other jobs or functions assigned by supervisor/manager.
