Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking entry-level production helpers to perform blasting, cleaning, masking, and basic coating preparation.

You will work under direct supervision, using various blasting media and coating equipment, with responsibilities including inspection, material handling, and maintaining a clean work area. The role requires English proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs in a compliance-focused manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination and practical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review work instructions for paint type, tolerances and thickness.
• Load, adjust and maintain HVLP coating equipment.
• Review instructions for cleaning, masking, and abrasive blasting operations.
• Perform receiving inspections and report damages.
• Abrasive blast production parts using Aluminum Oxide, Plastic Media, and Glass Beads.
• Gather supplies such as racks, tooling, and carts.
• Oil and/or package parts for protection.
• Clean production parts including degreasing or solvent cleaning.
• Maintain blast cabinets and machines.
• Collaborate with area leadership to prioritize tasks.
• Follow safety directives and handle chemicals/solvents responsibly.
• Possible heavy lifting as required.
