Job summary

Altium Packaging in York, PA is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate to ensure proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will load, move materials, and operate packaging equipment while following GMP.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, adherence to safety policies, and teamwork. Training will be provided within 90 days of hire, with overtime possible to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shift in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates teamwork by collaborating effectively with others.
• Adheres to company GMP and general policies.
• Keeps work area neat, clean and organized.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Moves finished goods to designated areas and replenishes supplies.
• Inspects bottle quality during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections such as drop tests on designated lines.
• Escalates abnormalities, defects, and quality issues promptly.
