Job summary

PPC Industries in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking an entry level packaging machine operator (packer). This full-time role offers a learning path in the blown film business, with opportunities to move up within the corporation as you gain experience on multiple extrusion lines.

The packer will assist in quality control, setup, and operation of extrusion processes, while ensuring GMPs and GDPs are followed and production records are properly documented.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift (day/night).
• Willingness to listen and learn from co-workers.
• Basic math to calculate measurements.
• Basic computer skills to input data and interface with systems.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished product from multiple extrusion lines.
• Perform quality checks and adhere to SOPs.
• Assist in setup and operation of extrusion equipment.
• Label, pack, and shrink-wrap pallets of product.
• Document run records and communicate equipment issues.
