Job summary

PPC Industries in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Packaging Machine Operator (packer). The role involves packaging finished product from multiple extrusion lines, quality control, and assisting in extrusion operations. It is a full-time position with opportunities to learn and advance within the blown film business.

The packer will support re-grind processes and line coverage, with emphasis on GMPs, GDPs, and proper documentation. Training will be provided for new employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (day / night).
• Willingness to listen and learn from co-workers within the plant.
• Basic math skills to complete calculation and measurement of product.
• Basic computer skills to input data / interface with Material Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished product from multiple extrusion lines.
• Perform Quality Control checks as required by SOP.
• Operate rewind and winder equipment as described in SOP.
• Label / pack off / shrink wrap pallets of finished product.
• Document run records for manufactured product.
