Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an entry level Class C Lineman to build and repair overhead electrical distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various job sites, and report to the Foreman.

The role involves climbing structures and performing live-line work with approved safety methods. Candidates should have two years of field experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel and work outages or emergencies, including overtime.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant field experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outages, storms, emergencies including on call rotation.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems on energized and de-energized lines.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Climb structures using approved climbing methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and at heights.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE and insulated protective gear.
• Travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations.
• Report to the Foreman and work under safety-first principles.
