Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman in Greenwood, SC for entry‑level line work on overhead distribution systems. You’ll travel to job sites as needed, report to the Foreman, and perform essential functions in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities include construction, repair, live‑line work, and strict safety protocol adherence. The company offers a safety‑driven culture and a broad benefits package to support its workforce.

Qualifications

Two years of relevant field experience are required.
Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Work extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state.
Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform new construction, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first.
Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
Work at heights, in confined spaces, near energized equipment.
Operate and maintain bucket trucks and other equipment.
Work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
Be available for outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
Perform live-line work with gloving and hot-stick techniques, troubleshooting and fault locating.
Follow safety protocols including PPE and insulating protective gear knowledge.
