Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may travel to different job sites as needed. You will report to the Foreman and join a safety‑driven team.

The role requires CDL, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work outside standard hours, outages, and emergencies. Out‑of‑state travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of field experience preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work extended hours including weekends/holidays/outages.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, energized and de‑energized.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, around energized equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners, pullers and other line equipment.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
