Job summary

Dr. Tavel is seeking an Optician at our Anderson/Indianapolis area locations. No optical experience is required as we provide comprehensive training to launch a successful career in eyewear and service.

This role involves helping patients choose eyewear, explaining lens options, managing front-desk tasks, processing orders, and performing minor repairs. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients in selecting eyewear that fits their face and lifestyle.
• Educate patients on lens options and eyewear care.
• Verify insurance, schedule appointments, and manage benefit authorizations.
• Place and process eyewear orders and troubleshoot issues.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments for proper fit.
• Build lasting relationships with patients.
• Complete training, certifications, and growth milestones.
• Travel to support other locations if needed.
