Job summary

Textron is hiring an Entry Level Operations Leader to support daily production at the Piney Flats site. You will work with Production Supervisors and cross‑functional teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while developing leadership skills in manufacturing.

This hands‑on aerospace environment offers mentorship, development opportunities, and exposure to operations management, Lean initiatives, and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Ops, IE, Supply Chain, Business).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in people management.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor production schedules and assist in prioritizing work to meet customer commitments and optimize flow.
• Track KPIs and develop action plans for performance improvement.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and structured problem‑solving tools.
• Assist with workforce planning and staffing support for assigned operations.
• Maintain compliance with Bell, Textron, and regulatory standards.
• Communicate status, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
