Job summary

Hatch Ltd. seeks a Junior Operational Readiness Specialist to support development and maintenance of readiness plans and tools from our Pittsburgh, PA office.

You will coordinate readiness activities across operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety teams, preparing procedures and turnover documentation for successful startup. Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a degree in engineering and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be university/college graduates
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, chemical, or process engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and maintenance of Operational Readiness plans, schedules, and tracking tools
• Support readiness assessments and milestone reviews throughout project execution
• Help identify activities required to prepare operations and maintenance teams for equipment startup and turnover
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, project management, training, and safety teams
• Facilitate meetings, document action items, and track completion of readiness deliverables
• Support communication between project teams and site personnel regarding upcoming changes
• Assist with the development, review, and organization of operating procedures, maintenance procedures, work instructions, and startup documentation
• Support document control activities and ensure readiness documents are maintained and accessible
• Help verify that project documentation is complete prior to turnover
• Support training program development and training schedule coordination
