Job summary

Hatch Ltd. in Salt Lake City is seeking an Operational Readiness Lead to drive safety-focused readiness across large industrial programs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop readiness strategies and coordinate with owner teams and EPCM stakeholders to ensure a safe and compliant ramp-up. We require 15+ years in operation excellence and a proven track record in commissioning and ramp up, with deep experience in Metals, Energy, or Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operation excellence with leadership on mega projects ($1B+).
• Cross-functional experience across operations (site management, production, maintenance, safety, environment).
• Proven ability in operational readiness, commissioning and ramp up.
• Deep experience in metals, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Strategic planning and site execution leadership with strong stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across senior to working levels.

Responsibilities

• Role model safety culture and collaborative leadership.
• Develop and implement operations and operations readiness strategies for large projects.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across project phases.
• Liaise with senior EPCM and commissioning stakeholders for alignment.
• Lead site operations readiness teams to ensure safe, quality, timely delivery.
• Advise owner and client teams on delivering effective operations readiness programs.
• Travel to remote sites as required, including fly-in/fly-out assignments.
