Job summary

V R Della Infotech Inc is seeking a Mechanical Field Technician to perform on-site repairs and maintenance at a single customer location in Cranbury, NJ. You will use basic hand tools and demonstrate equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable operation.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work extended hours including weekends or holidays as needed. PPE such as safety goggles and earplugs are provided on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; associate degree preferred in technology fields such as mechanical, electrical, or electronics.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical hand tools and principles.
• Ability to use PC applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and service tasks using basic hand tools; demonstrate equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise where applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
