Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Business Administration field.
• 1–3 years of work experience in a clerical or accounting support role.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Fluency in English; clear written and oral communication.
• Ability to perform basic accounting tasks such as journal entries and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and prepare daily transactions including cash receipts and deposits, in-kind donations, and credit card transactions.
• Manage AP inboxes and Coupa Procure to Pay and Coupa Expenses submissions.
• Process AP invoices and reimbursements ensuring policy compliance and weekly disbursement preparation.
• Prepare revenue contract entries and issue invoices per GAAP and policies; record cash receipts and apply payments to AR.
• Review in-kind donations for policy compliance and proper valuation; record to in-kind schedule.
• Reconcile prepaid postage and inter-company transfers; record outgoing wire transfers.
• Prepare journal entries in Sage Intacct in accordance with GAAP.
• Support Finance cardholders through Jira; manage WellsOne profiles.
• Import monthly statements and reconcile balance sheet accounts; monitor cardholder activity.
• Distribute AP mail; draft correspondence and reports.
• This is an in-person position located in Arlington, VA.
