Job summary

The USO is seeking an accounting professional for its Arlington, VA office to support core financial operations. You will process accounts payable and expense reimbursements, record receivables and revenue, and prepare journal entries in Sage Intacct, while ensuring policy compliance in Coupa.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Administration and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and confidentiality. In-person role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a basic understanding of accounting principles.
• 1–3 years of clerical or accounting support experience; not-for-profit or military sector preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information discretely.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and expense reimbursements in Coupa to ensure policy compliance.
• Record accounts receivable and revenue recognition entries; prepare journal entries in Sage Intacct.
• Provide support to credit card users and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Assist in reporting, documentation, and special projects as assigned.
