Job summary

LINX is hiring a Network Cabling Estimator to support our commercial bid team in Denver. This training-forward role requires 1–2 years of estimating network cabling and reading drawings, with no strict experience barrier.

You’ll price structured cabling projects across corporate offices and facilities while learning from senior estimators. You’ll work in an office-based role with room to grow into a Senior Estimator as you build a track record, with a pay range of $70,000–$100,000 plus bonus and

Qualifications

• 1–2 years estimating network cabling projects.
• Strong knowledge of copper and fiber cabling and pathways.
• Proficient in Excel and Bluebeam Revu or a similar takeoff tool.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and technical documents.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and keep details organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for network cabling systems, including materials, labor, and expenses.
• Support the development of bid proposals in alignment with project budgets and timelines.
• Review project schedules, drawings, and specifications to understand scope of work.
• Identify and document project requirements under senior estimators.
• Create a Scope of Work document for customer clarity and for Operations to build from.
• Obtain pricing from vendors for materials and equipment.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships that support competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and engineers to ensure estimates meet project needs.
• Provide clear, organized documentation for every estimate and related file.
• Stay current on industry standards and participate in mentoring to grow toward the next level.
