Job summary

LINX, headquartered in Denver, CO, is seeking a Data Center Estimator to support sales with bid responses and ensure complete, updated cost estimates for network cabling projects in datacenter environments.

The role involves coordinating with vendors, project managers, and engineers to align estimates with project scope and budgets, while staying current on industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of estimating network cabling projects (Datacenters).
• Strong knowledge of cabling systems, materials, and installation practices (copper/fiber).
• Proficient with Excel and Bluebeam Revu for estimates and markup.
• Detail oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for network cabling systems, including materials, labor, expenses.
• Support bid proposals aligned with budgets and timelines.
• Review project documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain supplier pricing.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers and engineers to ensure estimates meet project needs.
