Job summary

Shimano North America Holding, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator I to join our IT team in Irvine, CA. You will serve as a first-level technician for software, desktops, notebooks, and network-related hardware, while coordinating with senior level admins.

The role requires 2-3 years of IT experience, strong AD Group Policy knowledge, and solid communication skills. Duties include backups, documentation, and occasional on-site travel to Shimano sites.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in IT/network administration.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience with security in Active Directory (SID, GUID, Permissions).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Disaster recovery knowledge and backups.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain computers and network-related software.
• Provide first-level IT support and excellent customer service.
• Support VoIP systems and call center applications.
• Maintain backups (physical and cloud) and disaster recovery plans.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist in on-call duties for after-hours and weekend support.
• Assist with Active Directory management and audits.
• Travel to Shimano sites as needed for on-site support.
