Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a biological science preferred.

Computer skills (e.g., MS Office) and ability to learn a validated system.

Responsibilities

Perform euthanasia and post-mortem examination of animals for microscopic evaluation by a veterinary pathologist.
Train in onboarding skills including animal handling, sedation, dissection, and sample collection.
Document and verify data in forms or electronic data capture systems.
Review documentation for quality control and ensure data integrity.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Learn anatomic terminology and help prepare samples for testing.
Work extended hours and possible weekend/holiday rotations as needed.
