Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Red Lion, PA, is seeking an NDT Technician I to perform and document non-destructive testing procedures using ultrasound, radiography, and other methods. Qualifications

• Required education and experience: Attending a Vocational / Technical School or internal training program OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience or Skillset; No prior experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists with setting up and standardizing equipment, processing parts, interpreting and evaluating for acceptance or rejection, and documenting results.
• Supports the development of specific calibrations and tests.
• Documents results in accordance with the specification.
• Identifies errors and defects in equipment.
• Use of ultrasound, radiography, or other techniques during the testing process.
• Assists with conducting system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
• Maintains procedures, policies, and techniques as necessary.
• Maintains documentation for training and experience hours.
