Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing services at client sites. This role kicks off a rewarding career in asset integrity and inspection, with focus on safety and operational excellence.

You will assist in setting up inspections and preparing materials, while learning to follow TEAM procedures and client protocols. The position offers exposure to UT, MT, PT, RT methods, field reporting responsibilities, and potential travel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power and other settings.
• Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative schedules.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
• Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.).
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and help secure work areas for radiographic testing (where applicable).
• Transport equipment to and from job sites, maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure all tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow all safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
