Job summary

Acuren Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Entry Level NDT Assistant to support operations. This will be a callout/travel position. You will assist in nondestructive testing, calibrations, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection while recording results at client sites.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, supporting radiographers, and carrying out tasks as directed by management. This is an entry level role with travel requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background desired.
• Must pass background check per client requirements.
• Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles.
• Must pass drug/alcohol screens per client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
