Responsibilities

  • Prosecute misdemeanor criminal and civil violations in municipal court, including bench and jury trials.
  • Represent the City in administrative hearings.
  • Review Public Information Act requests and respond or seek Attorney General opinions.
  • Assist with civil litigation defense and discovery.
  • Assist in drafting ordinances, resolutions, and contracts.
  • Provide training and legal updates to City departments.
