Qualifications

• Requires an accredited two-year Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT MR Certification is required.
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and imaging equipment per protocols.
• Verify orders, review patient histories, and ensure patient ID and prep.
• Perform MRI exams and evaluate image quality.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocols.
• Maintain MRI safety standards and infection control.
• Monitor patient conditions and assist during emergencies.
• Maintain documentation and keep equipment/work areas clean.
