Job summary

Alliance Technical Group is seeking a Monitoring Technician to join our team in California. You will daily monitor equipment, perform calibrations on analyzers, and support leak detection and safety tasks in an environmental protection setting.

The role offers training, a clear career path, and potential for multiple pay increases within the first year. Starting pay is $20.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Ability to be on your feet for 8–10+ hours per day on uneven ground.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders to high heights (up to 300 ft).
• Some mechanical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of components to detect leaks and emissions.
• Perform and record calibrations on analyzers.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on analyzers.
• Identify and report changes to components during monitoring.
• Support leak repair activities at customer worksites as required.
• Complete daily paperwork and safety documentation.
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings.
