Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Toolmaker I in Circle Pines, MN, to assist with mold maintenance for medical device manufacturing. You will learn cleaning, inspection, basic repairs, and documentation while aligning with shifts and safety protocols.

This role requires a high school diploma, basic tools knowledge, and a detail-oriented mindset. Training on 1st shift for ~3–4 weeks is provided, with opportunities for growth in the toolroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• No prior experience required; manufacturing background is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, measuring instruments and general mechanical principles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Mold cleaning and inspection to ensure defect-free molds.
• Assist with basic mold maintenance and repairs under supervision.
• Document maintenance activities in logs.
• Safely handle tools and equipment; keep work area clean.
• Report mold-related issues to supervisor; communicate with team.
• Assist inventory of parts and supplies.
• Participate in training to improve mold maintenance skills.
