Job summary

AV is seeking an Entry-Level Modeling & Simulation (ModSim) Engineer to support development, integration, execution, and analysis of modeling and simulation capabilities used to evaluate system performance. You will contribute to simulation model implementation, scenario development, data analysis, verification and validation, and integration with software and hardware environments.

You will work under the technical direction of senior ModSim and systems engineering personnel and assist with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline.
Ability to acquire and maintain a TS/SCI DOD Security Clearance.
0-2 years of modeling, simulation, software, or engineering experience; internships or projects may qualify.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as C++, Python, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

Support development, integration, execution, and analysis of modeling and simulation capabilities.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of simulation models and tools.
Develop and modify simulation scenarios to support analyses and tests.
Analyze simulation outputs and interpret results.
Support verification, validation, and performance assessment activities.
Integrate models with software, hardware, and test environments.
Document configurations, procedures, and results.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
