Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Amarillo, TX seeks an entry-level Assembler to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, and stairs on an assembly line. You will perform repetitive tasks, read simple instructions, and operate basic machines in a safety-conscious environment.

This role is safety-sensitive and requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, and working at various stations as production needs change. Prior carpentry experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cuts products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
