Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level Assembler to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs at our Pennsylvania facility. The role involves repetitive assembly, lifting, and operating on an assembly line with safety procedures in place.

Candidates should be able to follow simple instructions, perform basic math, and read a tape measure. Prior carpentry experience is helpful; no formal education or experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cuts products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
