Job summary

Behr Enterprises in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Welder for a high-priority MIG weld cell supporting one of our largest accounts. You will set up, operate and adjust MIG welding equipment and weld tacked assemblies to specification.

Candidates should read blueprints, use measuring tools, perform visual inspections, and follow ISO procedures. Training is provided for the right person, with emphasis on teamwork in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level welder with ability to read blueprints and follow welding procedures.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use gages/inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and manually adjust MIG welding equipment.
• Independently weld tacked assembly jobs according to specifications.
• Identify opportunities for welded fixtures or other job aids to improve efficiency.
• Perform visual and technical welding inspections as required.
• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
