Job summary

Total Staffing and QFS is seeking an entry-level MIG welder for a 2nd shift in North Aurora, IL. This performance-to-hire role offers hands-on training and growth opportunities in a supportive team environment.

You will read blueprints and measurements, set up materials, perform MIG welds on a variety of components, inspect welds for quality, and assist with basic equipment maintenance. Safety gear is provided, steel-toe shoes are required, and you are responsible for arranging your own commute.

Qualifications

• Interest in welding or prior entry-level experience.
• Ability to read measurements and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented with a good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of components.
• Read blueprints and measurements to plan layouts.
• Set up materials and equipment for welding.
• Align and clamp components for accurate welding.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and consistency.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
