Job summary

Datavant in Sandy, Utah is seeking an entry-level Release of Information (ROI) associate to process medical record requests promptly and accurately, safeguarding patient privacy under HIPAA and company policies.

You will handle front desk tasks, respond to requests, maintain confidential records, use Word and Excel, and collaborate with teams to meet daily production goals in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and clerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment.
• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain knowledge of company and facility software.
• Adhere to conduct policies and report site difficulties or volume changes.
• Manage patient health records and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with walk-ins as needed.
