Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an Associate Machine Operator to set up equipment, load materials, and run manufacturing processes for device components and sterilized metals products. You will follow SOPs, record data in MES, and ensure quality throughout production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Some previous experience operating similar machinery preferred.
• Good communication skills and basic computer literacy required.
• Ability to use automated inspection and vision systems and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment, load materials, and run manufacturing processes to make device components and/or sterilize finished metals products.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs; record traceable information in device history records and MES.
• Check equipment readiness and adjust within approved settings to meet quality requirements.
• Inspect equipment and parts during production to ensure processes stay in control and meet specs.
• Capture process parameters for device history records, manually or automatically.
• Perform basic operator equipment care and maintenance and escalate when needed.
• Select and use correct tools, fixtures, and equipment for the operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; escalate to Lead/Supervisor/Engineering as needed.
• Handle, mix, and use chemicals per process; follow PPE and safety procedures.
• Operate laser equipment (if assigned) and follow laser safety rules.
