Collins Aerospace Maintenance Repairs Operation site in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Repair Technician. You will perform complete operation checkouts, repair corrections, and testing of mechanical assemblies to ensure safety and reliability of aircraft components.

This onsite role offers hands-on training, steady Monday–Friday hours with overtime, and the chance to grow technical skills in measuring tools, blueprints, and repair procedures.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or GED) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Basic computer skills for documenting repairs and following work instructions.
• Experience with measuring tools and interpreting blueprints or overhaul manuals is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite at Santa Fe Springs, CA location.
• Conducts inspection of incoming assemblies and components according to procedures and technical data.
• Sets up repair and test facilities and tests/calibrates parts to meet specifications.
• Performs repairs on units that fail test or tolerance levels.
• Assembles fabricated parts and uses hand/power tools for assembly.
• Upholds quality and safety standards and performs other duties as assigned.
