Job summary

SSOE is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Process Engineer to support local clients and virtual project teams. From inception through construction you will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications and procurement, with field support to commissioning.

Expect collaborative teamwork across disciplines and growth opportunities. Responsibilities include developing design deliverables, coordinating with design teams, and assisting in cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• EIT preferred but not mandatory.
• Salary range provided in qualifications: $65,000–$85,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop PFDs and P&IDs, perform process calculations and equipment specs.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to complete project tasks.
• Create bid packages and assist in cost estimates.
• Perform field work to support project goals.
• Ensure quality and adherence to engineerings standards and practices.
• Travel as needed.
