Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking an entry-level Process Engineer in Austin, TX. The role supports local clients and virtual project teams across locations, handling projects from inception through construction, including PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and equipment specs. You will continue supporting through commissioning.

Ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and may have an EIT. The company emphasizes growth, collaboration, and advanced AI-enabled workflows to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred; little or no practical working experience acceptable.
• Salary range is provided and relates to location and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop PFDs and P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications from inception through construction.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering and design teams to complete project tasks.
• Assist in the creation of bid packages and perform field work as needed.
• Lead engineering studies, write reports, and develop engineering calculations.
