FM Industries in Tempe, AZ is looking for a Mechanical Inspector I to perform final visual inspections in a Class 1000 cleanroom and interpret drawings to ensure products meet internal and external requirements. The role involves documenting methods, photographing parts, and confirming proper hardware installation with data collection for FIRs.

Ideal candidates have up to 2 years of experience in in-process and final inspection in manufacturing, machining, automotive, or aerospace environments.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ experience performing in-process and final inspection.

Responsibilities

• Final visual inspection in a Class 1000 cleanroom.
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications, and reference company work instructions and process travelers.
• Photograph parts after final clean/assembly before they are final packaged.
• Confirm that all necessary hardware is correctly installed (heli-coils, dowel pins, keenserts, lee plugs).
• Collect and provide data required for Final Inspection Reports (FIRs).
