Job summary

Sierra Space in Louisville, CO is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer I to support senior engineers in mechanical systems, propulsion, structures, or environmental systems. You will assist in analysis, design, and documentation to help meet program objectives.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and up to 2 years of experience, with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. CAD tools familiarity (NX or SolidWorks) and knowledge of GD&T are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically entry-level with 0–2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, standards, theories and concepts.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, verbally and in writing.
