Lam Research in Oregon invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer 1 in the Global Products Group. You will design and define cutting-edge mechanical/electro-mechanical systems, perform feasibility studies, testing, and guide teams through detailed design and fabrication to shape Lam’s packaging technology.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, strong communication skills, and familiarity with CREO/SolidWorks.

Responsabilités

Support the full life cycle of mechanical/electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization, including conceptualization, CAD modeling, development, and test/validation.
Design components using metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.
Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and GD&T.
Conduct structural, FEA, thermal, and fluid-flow analyses to properly specify designs.
Develop and conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize performance.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design intent and validation results.
Collaborate with internal teams for procurement and assembly of components and equipment.
